You Loved!

Dear Lord, today I just want to thank You for all Your blessings, Your faithfulness and Your love.  Thank You for everything you’ve done, for the things unseen and seen. Thank You for paying the price for my sin, restoring my faith and transforming my life. Thank you Lord God!

“To Know Your Name”

“The precious blood of Jesus Christ redeems Forgiven I’m alive, restored set free Your Majesty resides inside of me Forever I believe, forever I believeArrested by your truth and righteousness
Your grace has overwhelmed my brokenness
Convicted by your spirit, led by your word
Your love will never fail, your love will never fail

‘Cause I know you gave the world
Your only son for us
To know your name
To live within the saviour’s love and He took my place
Knowing He’d be crucified
And You loved, You loved
A people undeserving!”

Heaven Inside You

[To have Faith in Christ] means, of course, trying to do all that He says. There would be no sense in saying you trusted a person if you would not take his advice. Thus if you have really handed yourself over to Him, it must follow that you are trying to obey Him. But trying in a new way, a less worried way. Not doing these things in order to be saved, but because He has begun to save you already. Not hoping to get to Heaven as a reward for your actions, but inevitably wanting to act in a certain way because a first faint gleam of Heaven is already inside you. ― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

Some people believe that being a Christian means to live a strict life and that, strictness, comes from the Church forcing us to do or not do what they teach. However, the truth is, when you have a piece of heaven already inside you, you act in a certain way not because you are being forced to, but because you desire to. Your life is transformed, your priorities change, and what once was significant to you might not be as significant anymore. You see things under a different light, you begin to view life through Christ and that’s where transformation comes from!
