Heaven Inside You

[To have Faith in Christ] means, of course, trying to do all that He says. There would be no sense in saying you trusted a person if you would not take his advice. Thus if you have really handed yourself over to Him, it must follow that you are trying to obey Him. But trying in a new way, a less worried way. Not doing these things in order to be saved, but because He has begun to save you already. Some people believe that being a Christian means to live a strict life and that, strictness, comes from the Church forcing us to do or not do what they teach. However, the truth is, when you have a piece of heaven already inside you, you act in a certain way not because you are being forced to, but because you desire to. Your life is transformed, your priorities change, and what once was significant to you might not be as significant anymore. You see things under a different light, you begin to view life through Christ and that’s where transformation comes from!
